Beehive hockey photos were large player portraits included in Golden Corn Syrup promotions from the 1930s through the 1960s. Known for their oversized format, sharp photography, and excellent quality for their time, they featured many NHL stars, including goalies such as Phil Stein and Jim Franks. I added Beehive rookie photos as rookie card replacements because some early goaltenders like Stein did not have a trading card, making these photos an important way to showcase their first appearance
