The 1910 C56 hockey card set is the first and the most iconic and historically significant release in the hobby. It is the first widely distributed hockey card set and features 36 cards, of which many are rookie cards of game's earliest stars. Art Ross, Cyclone Taylor and Lester Patrick. Building a complete C56 set is a challenge due to the age, rarity, and condition of the cards. While my goalie archive is dedicated to goalie rookie cards, I decided to try to assemble the entire C56 set as a personal side project simply because I appreciate its place in hockey card history and enjoy the challenge of completing such a legendary collection.
